Cliply ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Cliply Chrome extension and website at getcliply.io.

Information We Collect

Email address — collected when you create a Cliply account, used to identify your account
Savings history — the number of coupons clipped and estimated savings value at each store, used to display your savings dashboard
Store preferences — which grocery stores and coupon categories you have selected, used to personalize your clipping experience

Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect or store your grocery store login credentials. These remain in your browser only and are never transmitted to our servers.

We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties

How We Use Your Information

To identify your account and display your personalized savings dashboard
To remember your selected stores and coupon category preferences
To send you savings summaries if you opt in to email notifications

How the Extension Works

The Cliply Chrome extension clips coupons using your own browser session and your own IP address. When you click Clip, the extension opens your grocery store's coupon page in a new tab and automatically clicks each available coupon clip button on your behalf. No grocery store credentials are ever sent to Cliply's servers.

Data Storage

Your account data (email, savings history, preferences) is stored securely on servers hosted by DigitalOcean in the United States. Your local extension preferences and login session are stored in your browser's local storage on your device.

Subscriptions & Payments

Cliply offers a free plan that includes coupon clipping at one grocery store, and a paid subscription ($5/month) that unlocks unlimited stores. All payments are processed securely by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. Cliply does not collect, store, or have access to your credit card or payment information — this is handled entirely by Stripe in compliance with PCI-DSS standards. We only receive your subscription status (active, cancelled) and email address from Stripe to manage your account access. You can cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal accessible from your Cliply account settings.

Third-Party Services

Google AdSense — we display ads on our website. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits. You can opt out at google.com/settings/ads.
DigitalOcean — our server infrastructure provider

Children's Privacy

Cliply is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
